What do I need to do before my dog comes to stay at KAMP overnight?

Your dog must be registered with us! You can do so at https://kampdoglodge.portal.gingrapp.com. We also require a Meet & Greet with your dog (free) so we can make sure KAMP is a great fit for your pup.

When can I drop off and pick up my dog?

You’re welcome to check your pup in at KAMP anytime during our regular business hours. For overnight stays, we prefer that drop-offs be made before 11:00 AM when possible, to help your pup settle in and enjoy a full day of play.

For pick-up, please note that dogs picked up after 1:00 PM will incur a DayKAMP fee of $35.

What should I bring for my pup?

FOOD: Keep your pup’s KAMP experience just like home! Bring along their usual food, and let’s stick to their regular meals. If your pup’s on a raw diet, no problem—we just need clear instructions on what to serve and when. We’ve got this!

MEDICINE: Got a pup who needs meds? No worries, we’re ready to help! Bring any medication your dog needs, and we’ll take care of it during their stay. Just keep in mind our hours of operation. If your dog requires meds overnight, we recommend a vet or in-home sitter. We can also handle insulin shots if needed—just let us know! Is your pup a little nervous about being away from home? Feel free to bring calming aids like CBD or other sleep-friendly remedies to help them relax and enjoy their camp adventure.

KAMP COMFORTS: Make sure your pup feels at home in their kennel by bringing some of their favorite comfort items! Blankets, toys, long-lasting chew toys, and a bed in good shape will make their stay even more paws-itively cozy

Will my dog be stuck in a kennel all day?

Absolutely NOT.  Overnight KAMP includes DayKAMP. Which means your dog will have plenty of play time. If we feel that your dog needs some solo time we will give them kennel breaks throughout the day to rest. We have huge play areas indoor and outdoor so your pup will get plenty of exercise.

How will I keep tabs on my dog?

Stay connected with your pups through our live KAMP Cam (coming soon), get daily photo updates you can share, send text messages directly to our front desk anytime, and enjoy top-notch customer service that’s always here for you!

How do you handle emergencies?

In the event of an emergency, our team will contact you immediately and follow your instructions regarding your pet’s care. If the situation is urgent and time-sensitive, we reserve the right to transport your pet to the nearest emergency veterinary clinic to ensure their safety and well-being. Rest assured, you will be notified as soon as possible by our staff should such an event occur.

Do you take puppies and/or senior dogs?

We require dogs be at least 4 months old to come to KAMP. We also take senior dogs and are happy to administer meds and breaks as needed!

Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered? What if my dog is in heat?

KAMP welcomes dogs that are not spayed or neutered; however, it is the sole responsibility of the owner to inform KAMP Dog Lodge and Spa of their dog’s reproductive status before check-in. This information is necessary so that dogs can be grouped appropriately for the safety and well-being of all animals in our care. While we make every effort to separate dogs based on size, temperament, and reproductive status, KAMP Dog Lodge and Spa shall not be held liable for any unplanned mating, pregnancy, or resulting medical condition or expense that may occur while dogs are in our care. By signing this waiver, the owner agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless KAMP Dog Lodge and Spa, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from or related to such incidents.

If your dog is in heat, however, we ask that you do not bring her to KAMP. If your unaltered female pet begins their heat cycle while in our care, you will be required to pick up your pet immediately.

What vaccines does my pup need prior to coming to KAMP?

To ensure the health and safety of all our guests, KAMP Dog Lodge requires the following vaccinations: Rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough), DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus)

We also accept titers as proof of immunity for qualifying vaccines.

While these vaccinations are required, please note that no vaccine is 100% effective, and illness may still occur despite best prevention practices. For the wellbeing of all dogs in our care, your pet should not have been exposed to rabies, distemper, parvo, Bordetella, canine influenza, or other contagious illnesses within the past 30 days prior to coming to KAMP.
